I've been trading for almost 12 years now and have subscribed to about 9 fee-based trading systems ... and this is the first system that I can honestly say WORKS. At times, it almost feels like we're printing money. I'm trading the system with QLD & QID (the long & short "2x" versions of QQQQ). The original TMG 1.0 hit a rough patch in late February and the developers went back to the drawing board and emerged with TMG 2.0 that went live on 5/7/07. Since then, it's like the money printing presses have been fired up again ... and my account has grown nicely as a result. Crossing my fingers that TMG is around long enough for me to pay off my mortgage early and then buy myself an island with maybe a 50 room mansion (for me and all my future servants).
This scalping system is amazing!. I have talked to El Capitan personally and helped me a lot. His sincere and honest attitude give me a confidence in trading. He listens to our inputs and improves his systems. El Capitan, I have a 100% trust on you. Please keep up good work. Jeremy Sato
I have been using the TMG signal for over five months now. I have made money in spite of the Feb market one day panic most systems missed and some draw down. Nobody likes draw downs and in any mechanical system they happen, Clearly TMG has recovered as you see by the chart. The thing that has impressed me the most is the caliber of the three people involved who developed the signal. I like it that there are three creators. working the process. To me three heads are better than one. They are also very responsive to questions and seek input from members.
System had a tough stretch but looks to be back even stronger now. Currently at a new equity high. Sure anyone can make money in a bull environment but Merlin has also been able to follow the short term retracing. All in all I'm glad I was able to jump on this train. In addition, the experience of the designers and other subscribers is exceptional. My trading has improved. Trading options on the Q's.
I have been following this system for a few weeks now and I must say that I am very impresssed with the results. When I receive the signals through yahoo messenger I find that I can always get in at the same price or better through my manual trades. I really like that the system holds trades for big profits and has stops placed for each trade I get in. Si Nguyen has always been there to answer all my questions which is a big plus. Keep up the great work.
Tried it for a week, had enough. Half the time, the "fills" did not happen in reality. C2 is giving the system a fill if the SPREAD embraced the limit price, NOT if there was actually a trade at that price (50% of the time there wasn't). Even if there was a trade at that price, most of the time you don't get the fill in reality. Funny . . . the fills you actually get, those are the losers! El Capitan, my hat's off to you if you are really making money off this strategy, but it's untradeable thru C2.
Still early in the game but I have been very impressed at the early calls. If similar results are maintained it will make the monthly charge look downright reasonable. I'm pulling for you Bob Billings.
I've autotraded this system with OEC. Slippage reduces prosfit and increses losses. Net effect is small loss, otherwise this would have been a very good system.
From all the systems in C2, this one has made me money under all market conditions over the last year.It requires execution skills, a first class futures broker and a 6 figure account in order to make the 500USD subscription fee acceptable. This is not another hype and die system, like almost 99.9% on this webpage. This system is for serious traders with serious money and not suitable for beginners.
This is my #1 system on this C2 webpage.
One of the very few systems, which performed well over the past few month with acceptable drawdowns, but only because of very prudent stop management.Keep up the good work.
I really like the system, it actually works, the best I've seen in years. Don't bother with the emails, they're too slow for this. Use the Instant Trade Messenger (click on "Open ITM" at the top of this page). Test trade it in simulation first to make sure that you can execute the trades as quick and precise as is required.
Doing well so far but keep in mind that it's still a young system (<1 year and 66 trades). These are the kind of stats I like:
Avg Win $3,757
Avg Loss $1,901
With these the win% can be well below 50% and still the system makes good money. Surprisingly many systems in C2 try to maximize the win% taking very small profits and then letting one loser trade wipe out all the gains. This guy is professional enough not to pay attention to win% but making money instead.
The biggest problem here is possibly a C2 problem. This site is doing a better than ever job of showing the true colors of these systems; but, with this one, it came too late. It is too easy for a newbie to identify such systems as good without looking at the detail in these comments.
I have tried this system for a month or so. I feel that it takes a strong heart to follow it because of the often-big drawdown. There is no stop loss and all the orders are Limit GTC. Sometimes you have to wait for two weeks to get one order to be executed.
I believe this system might do well in a generally bullish market but could be subject to catastrophic loss if there is a big drop like the one happened on Feb. 27, 2007.
Other than that, this system is making a lot of money now and the slippage is almost none.
Indeed, its a remarkable system, the statistic values (APD, Win%, ...) and ave risk is very comfortable - but I dont understand the moneymanagement of trades running big into points and the next day loosing them twice. So the only negativ point is: How much loss until accepting the failtrade
The system is a profit maker no doubt...But we need to have stop losses and limits...to control the gains and the losses...and sometimes we feel that the system maker does not watch it...
A promising system with no slippage. Vendor is very responsive. Large diversified portfolio with both long and short positions. All trades have stop-loss and take profit. Min. trading capital ~$15,000 required to offset commissions and subscription fee by sufficient margin.
I'm new to forex and was looking for a service that provided signals on trades. I've executed a number of the trades over the last few weeks and its made me some decent $. The signals are specific with not stop, target or analysis behind the trade, but frankly as long as I make money I don't care. 100 wins out of 108 trades since they started is pretty impressive. I hope to continue with them and the wins.
