I trade this system. It trades based on long and short term market movement, with rotational trades to ratchet your entry price in a dynamically changing market. Do not confuse this for a scalping system - its primary profits are derived from large moves in the market, using multiple risk management techniques to position trades at or near the money, and short-term ratchet trades to keep you near the money as market conditions change. The key to trading this system is to not deviate from its signals, and to properly scale contracts based on their concise explanation. Review by: Lew Payne
The Feb. 3rd review is total BS. The system is very tradeable. Almost all of my trades are made at a better price. The system is easy to use and it makes money.
For me this system was easy to trade (eod) with limited number of stocks, fills better than published and - what was the word???- profitable!
Thanks to developer!
I subscribed. Will I ever receive a signal? Will I ever receive a reply? I am afraid not, as system developer has not been logged in here for more than hals a year.
Why is system offered and subscriptions accepted?
I rate system good, just look at its success, but value still lousy.
System trades oversold stocks in uptrend long only. I wonder how this strategy will perform in the bear market. Hold and hope is quite high. That is why APD is only .50. No stops, I wonder sometimes how long a stock has to keep going down. Overall mediocre system.
I have been subscribed to YM Euphoria for approx. one month now. I totally disagree with the review dated Feb. 3rd.
Its entries are with (generous) limit orders to allow for a good execution. With the entry, limit and stop levels are always given (no gambles). If the trade moves in the right direction, the stop is moved to break-even. Parallel legs are sometimes openned (I have not seen more than two legs open simultaneously) but it is not just averaging down. Each legt maintains its own limit and stop price and they are closed independently from each other.
Only EOD-systems are easier to trade. Give it 3 stars because it is still too young at C2.
Beware!! I had a managed account with Mark Burdge. IT's a TOTAL LOSS with in 8 weeks!! His written money management is NOT followed. HE stated that he would exit the trades at a max loss of 30% again NOT followed. His results that were listed on C2 were posted with large gains, totals false. When I emailed him to correct this posting error he did nothing. He continues to not follow what he has put in writting. He is out of control. How many others of us are out their? Please contact me or post your situation here on CE I'd like to talk to you. This seams to be a pattern of system trader here. C2 results suck you into a managed account and then the system traded by "manager of the sight on C2" sucks your account dry.Do Not trust managed account! Do not trust Mark Burdge!
I trade the EOS system exclusively in an IRA account I have at IB. That account rose in value by 60% in 2006 and I am off to a good start in 2007 (up 5% in January). You won't make the 160%/year that C2 reports due to the sizeable slippage, but the system is very consistent and one that I plan to keep trading for a long time.
System trades very thinnly traded stocks and fills are harder to come by. In the real world it is a very hard system to trade. You can see the hold and hope factor is very high .36. In a practical world of trading no wonder the system has realism factor of only 67. Slippage is very high and growing, 167% annual return is dream in real life.
Interesting system that produced many nice trades but seems to have entered the self destruction phase. No stops ahead of time which can be a problem also.
Subscribed end of December - system had a very poor performance during the last month, many losers in a row, system has no money management, not recommended !
works very well with some trending markets, and badly in volatyle markets. what you make here you get back there. a good system should perform in all markets. we are not yet there, hopefully we will one time.
The most important lesson to be learnt from this system is the importance of money management, you can be so wrong on the trade timings and directions but with a conservative MM approach you can go from 100k to 1.5M in 16 months, even a disasterous trade keeps you at 700K Net, which bank would give such returns, The people who got in since October have been very hard hit, but otherwise, the system is all about a good lesson in MM.
A reckless and undiscipline trader who seem to show a serious lack of any technical analysis knowledge in addition to a comlete disregard for any good money management practices. More like a gambler than a trader in my opinion. A disaster waiting to happen.
Wow you are right the entire list disapears instead of listing big losses. Very sad that only positives can be shown. No hedging has ever been done. Stops must be used with any responsible system.
For about 15 months, the vendor reported monthly gains in pips. In January 2007 a big loser (421 pips) occurred, but was not included in this list. After I pointed out that this was quite strange, the entire list suddenly disappeared.
I have been trading the TMG signals since November 27th utilizing put and call options against qqqq. Since that time the capital that I've allocated for trading has grown 315% including commissions. I generally trade at the open, but do try to take advantage of gaps up and down for better entries or exits. In trades I've made before the signal change I have both left money on the table and made profits that would have been missed waiting for the signal change. What TMG has provided is a confident vision of the near term market direction, which has permited these exception returns.
I trialled Hawk FX in November 2006 and carried out my own back testing. Contrary to the assertion of Mr Budge, he does not hedge and neither does he use stop losses. A very dangerous situation as many people have found out to their cost. It really is a shame that subscriber have had to suffer for the 'ego trip' that is a high success ratio. But, if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is! Take care.
Started with this system on 12/21, trading QID and QLD. So far, doing OK and still learning. A modest 2.0% but am having to work with fractions of my account (rollover IRA) to avoid 3 day settlement rule issues. Also, there have only been 7 trading days since I started.
a very good and responsible system. will help make you disciplined if you are not as long as you follow the rules. my only critique would be that the stops are always twice the profit target therefore if it hits the stops it takes two or more wins to cover. that simply makes your account grow slower than it might otherwise, but steady slow growth is better than most. i would like to see 1:1. i am studying his system to see if that would work.
Beware , I opened direct managed account with Mark for USD 10,000 ( not through collective 2 )and he has blown up the full account and present balance is only 1000 USD.I asked him to trade same as colective 2 but he was unable to do so.
