Original review 7/9/09: "What a disaster. Don't be fooled by the performance figures; they are very misleading. Regularly gets direction wrong, then just keeps adding to the position to average down. If you have a small account, it's impossible to keep up with, so performance is actually far worse. Look at 7/8/09 GY trade; drawdown of 522 pips! This averaging down often works out, but it only needs to fail a couple of times to wipe out your account. Look at Jan 2009 performance; gee, I wonder if that will happen again?? LOL Despite the arrogant note left by the developer on home page, this is a very dangerous system. Stay away."
It is a disaster. Simply adds to losing positions in higher and higher quantities, this is all there is to this "system".
Due to this "strategy" you can expect small wins because then the position size is small and big losers.
Also note that the size limit of C2 does not work correctly. Due to the individual trades and that the system traded multiple instruments, it opened significantly more than my limit size.
Also dont believe that the system developer writes that he adapted his behavior based on previous feedback. It is still the same martingale system.
- BTW, you can with martingale only if you have unlimited money.. - but if you have unlimited money, why would you trade shadowbanker?
I was monitoring the progress of this system and due to the conservative nature and solid trading skills I went live with $10,000. 2 weeks later and I'm down 50%. I have no idea why this trader has changed their style from being very cautious and accurate to someone who has no reagrd for money management. I can't believe what a turnaround this has been and it started happening the day I went live. This trader has no regard for good money management after all and I'm extremely annoyed indeed. I knew the risks but follwed Shadow Bankers own rules and lost the shirt off my back - stay well away!
hi, just for info for all the people, i open an account with 3.500 usd mid december, my equity in this moment is 1.156, trading the minimun lots, and these people in shadow banker, only add to loosing positions, i have 7 mini lots open now, against the trend, for everyone, please be carefull with these guys
What has happened to money management since January 5? Every subscriber should be ALARMED at what has taken place since then. A 90+% winning percentage means NOTHING if one loss wipes out a substantial portion of your gains--it's much better to take some small losses along the way if it keeps you in the game. I hope the system developer reads this and modifies the trading going forward. Everything I made in the last month was wiped out in the last several days--very demoralizing indeed.
First 4 trades - Lost %60+ of my account in a few hours...
I received an E-Mail from Bulldog, @ 12:29 am, saying that my account was disabled due to a "margin call" -- So I looked @ it and found a %60 loss.
Demo Account with Bulldog through FXCM.
Opened the account a day or two back, with no trades made, until
Today 4 trades were made that Demolished the account.
This provider will risk about 10% of his account on 1 single trade and will add to a losing position to average down. The prudent thing would be to close the losing position at a loss which he refuses to take. You know what they say about those who refuse to take a loss...
