Marathon Trading

I think this is overall a good strategy if it was not for those brokers like FXCM, MB Trading and OEC Equities keep on hitting those well set stops. There has been at least 4 trades where it could have been profitable or at least breakeven instead it loss a big amount. I personally use IB so I saved a lot of money on those trades cause IB does not try to hunt your stops. So instead of the flat equity curve had this strategy fully been traded on IB it would be slightly up right now.

Euro 30

Warning signs: Rapid consecutive trades in different directions as developer tries to find trend, developer changing his approach on a near weekly basis, referring to trades happening while he "had to step away," and openly referring to "young system" and "bad luck." If recent subscribers had followed his advice that it would be "okay" to trade 10K account at double the leverage, they would now be down 20% in a span of 2 weeks. How many consecutive "low risk" losses are subscribers willing to tolerate before it starts to occur to them that the "low risk" system is maybe not "low risk" at all?

Reliant

If you like the "catch a falling knife" system of investing, perhaps this is for you. Not sure what the author is remotely thinking on his picks. This thing will lose 10+ percent even on market up days. Vendor would be much better off with stop loss instead of EOD. Giving it 2 stars because of the vendors history, but really cant say anything positive here. Been a disaster the 5 mos Ive subscribed.

faith in research

Another typical system here at C2. Two or three months up with luck, afterwards collapsing like a dead horse. What kind of logic do these "systems" have? My conclusion is that no futures-trading-systems at collective2.com will live longer than 12 or 24 months. That's true. Every new person who enters this site should consider this.

faith in research

System has duly blown up due to the vendor taking huge gambles and not managing losing positions and cutting losses. With hindsight, the "systems" early "success" was just luck which has now run out.

WSS_EuroCurrency30M

So far promising system... I am not keen to fx/futures systems but hope this one will last much longer then other fx/futures systems on C2

RM Commodities

The developer is AWOL while the system is hitting a fresh 38 percent max drawdown. What else is there say about this much hyped system? Another one bites the dust...

RM Commodities

Today is 1st of June, system has 1 open position since 23/5 with a -5.400 USD loss, -30 percent losses with only 2 trades within the last 10 days , last system developer login to C2: 5/25/11 13:40 - more than a week ago, no ... what should I say more ... the historical performance is very good but it seems RM Commodities is nothing more than a funny game for the system developer!

DPI All Cap FCF

Very nicely done for the month of May! Market had a down month and this strategy is positive holding long positions in the market 100 percent of the time. If the developer can find some stocks to short to hedge against the risk of long positions this strategy can easily be a 5-star strategy.

MREV1

The system developer is working hard to improve system performance by looking at historical statistics to look for an edge. He is not trying to draw fee from clients but rather is looking for clients with same goal to ride with him on this long trading journey. Currently the system is in a draw down and hopefully when the market return to normal and the system can return to profitable.

Superior Returns

I have subscribed to this system and it is one of the best systems on C2. The return in May alone is second to none! The trader's methodology is very unique and lends itself to excellent returns. Of course, it has it's "ups" and "downs", but the "ups" far outweigh the "downs" and you'd be missing out on some excellent investing if you didn't take a serious look at this system!

HPB Options

Traders seem to know what they do, the results are in line with what is reported on the site, although there are often false prices. Unfortunately They do not respond very happy when we ask for explanations of how they think to defend the portfolio against "blacks swans"----- they are always full of naked Put far of the money ------

Cyclical Model

Month of May has been bad for the system: 36 trades closed, only 8 winners. Avg May winner is $305 and avg loser is -$190: bad. Right now there are 19 open positions, out of which only 3 are short, making me feel unconfortable if market goes further down. In conclusion, next two weeks will determine if system is worth 3-4 stars or if it is simply not capable of dealing with other than a steady trending market.

Forex Special

Based on the historical data, this system has been going pretty good up until now. The average trade is about 7-8 per month and average profit is $40. The losses are so huge that it will take about a month or even more to earn back the profit. The risk reward ratio does not seem so rewarding... Might this be the end of this system?

Euro 30

This is the best system on C2 in my opinion and I think the previous reviewer had to reach pretty far to give it a 3 out of 5. It definitely deserves much higher. This system has low risk and high rewards. The stop losses are very rigid which keeps the risk per trade minimal. He only trades one pair, which allows him to follow much more than just technicals. His trade logic and intuition is great and he knows when to get in and out of a position. Through the system forum he tells you why he made the trades he did. 6 out of 10 trades are good, but 1 out of 10 is REALLY good and you'll often make 3-5% in a few hours time. I've made a lot of money on this system and hope it continues to perform as well as it has so far.

Euro 30

A disciplined trader managing downside risk very well. Is aggressive enough to increase risk on a trending market and to let profits run. He has overtraded a choppy market resulting in profit reduction. His base account funding magnifies results, but actually could mean total loss of funds if he had a losing trade at max risk. Record is short, but very promising.

FxTrader

Exceptional system! I had been following it for the past 3 months and have been a subscriber for the past month. It has the marks of a true professional-captures the bigger market swings with most trades yielding profits of over 100 pips. The past drawdown was caused by using higher leverage, but now I see that the developer has reduced leverage and the system is still up close to 100 percent for the month with minimal open drawdown. It is not a scalping system and therefore is suitable for both auto and manual trading. I trade the system manually and fills with my broker-FXCM are very close to the C2 fills for the system. Without a slightest shade of doubt a FIVE STAR system!

Dave's YI Auto

Daves YI Auto had a nice, if short, 14 trade history. It gave you an idea of what was shaping up to be a promising system. However, at the beginning of May, he changed his algorithm, essentially ending the previous system, and starting a new system, using the same name and piggybacking off of the previous successes. Unfortunately, it appears this new system, 0 for 4 trades now, is now headed in the same direction as the rest of his systems. Going down anyone? Remember the first 14 trades no longer apply.

MREV1

Been with it for a month and even though it it's not been a great month the vendor keeps subscribers up to date on trades and adjusts accordingly. He has a trading plan which he sticks with which makes me feel confident in his progress. Easy to give a winning system four stars but even though this system has been sideways lately and I'm still giving four stars

INVERTERATE

I like the approach of this strategy. It buys the dips and sells on the rebound. Historical results are quite good and my real trading results confirm that. There are two main drawbacks. 1) It is very difficult to trade this strategy manually because there are so many orders every day, sometimes a large number arrive intraday; 2) due to the large number of open orders, this strategy uses up a great deal of buying power relative to the actual number of positions held. My brokers reduce BP for open orders, so this system is not a good fit. I recommend trying this system if you are willing to autotrade and if your broker does not ding your account for open orders.

Marathon Trading

accepting way too many subscribers, so slowly but surely starting to loose its mojo. Wish he would stick to some limit number of subscibers

Futures Trader Daily

Although a fairly consistent strategy, the developer seems to be more worried about collecting $349 from his subscribers every month rather than limit the number of subscribers to reduce slippage on fills.

Cyclical Model

So far looks like a well managed strategy with trailing stops and profit targets. Keep up the good work!

Gap Delight

vendor use stop and market order on thin markets result in slippage eating away all profits. If the vendor consider using limit order for entry perhaps the system can be profitable again.
