EWP plus

This guy really knows how to read the S&P charts and time the waves. His past drawdowns are a little scary, so I trade with less leverage than on C2. I rode out the July drawdown figuring that he would get back on course, which it seems he has. My only reason for not giving 5-stars is that it seemed like he rode out a couple of big losing trades in July instead of cutting his losses short.

Precision Futures

It's time to move on. With the high volume of trades, the commissions and slippage chew through the cash. OptionsXpress commissions are fair. Slippage is more than whats indicated by the 'show real trades' feature. Don't be decieved by the chart above. My account is well into the the red. Often trades his opinion instead of his system. (I wrote previously on june 7: I've been with this system since the end of January. After commissions and fees, I'm up about 20%. Not as good as the chart above, but steadily gaining. Draw downs have been low, although a little long through April. My questions have been answered. Even though there are a lot of trades, the per trade drawdown is very low and thats what attracted me in the first place.)

Quick Profit

I'd like to share some statistics re. this system: Return since March : 2.7% SP500 same period : 45% Holding a short position since July 24th and the loss on that position is 32.5% The vendor promises strict rules for stocks that do not hit their targets (10% profit) within 1-2 days. And the fact is he is still holding a losing position (32.5% loss, very strict !!!!!!). Never invest to a manager who does not keep his promises. While indices keep going north, he is still fighting against the indices (all his positions are short since July), so another Don Quixote trying to find tops and bottoms.

mvp-3

First, I believe the developer is a very nice; hard working guy. Unfortunately that does not make you money. MVP-3 is a work in progress and is being continually retooled. Money management does not seem to be a high priority as evidenced by the huge drawdowns. I think the developer is probably a computer whiz who thought he could sell a system with outsized results but in reality does either not understand risk/money management or is just very poor at it.

Gen 2 - Mini S&P Only

The system has been oscillating for 2-3 months, which is well within system expectations. The good news is that the vendor has not caved into trying to "fix" the system based on limited observation of temporary market trends. The system is not broken. Very happy with system and vendor. As for the Aug 16 review, I would ignore it, as flipping a coin is silly, exiting at 8:50AM is hardly vague, C2 gains are at 85% APY. Maybe they were reviewing a different system?

Gen 2 - Mini S&P Only

System recently goes against very strong market uptrend with short trades, often turning winners into losers by exiting at vague and arbitrary 8.50 AM next day. This has not work since inception on Col2. Historical data not impressive, recently one losing and one flat year, low return and high risk of huge drawdown. One may as well flip the coin and close trades at the end of the day.

mvp-3

System makes chaotic moves while market is steady rising. It seems MVP-3 does not work anymore. I was never convinced choosing illiquid EFTs like MVV and MZZ is a good idea to begin with.

mvp-3

Curve-fitting has hurt this system. The latest back-test shows a 3,600% return for last year and 150% for this year so far. The reality is much less. I still have hope that he can turn it around, but I'm not sure why. He is a nice guy though.

ETF Timer

System vendor is professional and communicates regularly with his subscribers. The system's low-stress, patient methodology of trading combined with its superior track record and low cost elevates ETF Trader to the top tier of systems on C2. Highly recommended.

USS2

Developer not very responsive. Positions not properly closed. Be careful with this... developer autotrading setup does not seem stable

Gen 2 - Mini S&P Only

System vendor is professional and responsive. Nearly every the vendor sends out a diagnostic report on the system's performance. This is a fine system, but while much thought has apparently been put into trade entries, the exits (and stops) are a different matter. We'll see how it performs going forward, but perhaps nearly tripling the subscription price in May was premature.

Turning Points

when almost all C2 systems fail, it is something to see one persist. And with decent stats. (1.6 PF, 1.7 Sharpe, 0.53 APD). [Still worried about a 250% realism, as there is something continuously fishy that C2 does not correct it. Maybe due to a rescaling???] Anyway, the system's performance may not continue, but so far, so good - Index

ShadowBanker

It is a disaster. Simply adds to losing positions in higher and higher quantities, this is all there is to this "system". Due to this "strategy" you can expect small wins because then the position size is small and big losers. Also note that the size limit of C2 does not work correctly. Due to the individual trades and that the system traded multiple instruments, it opened significantly more than my limit size. Also dont believe that the system developer writes that he adapted his behavior based on previous feedback. It is still the same martingale system. - BTW, you can with martingale only if you have unlimited money.. - but if you have unlimited money, why would you trade shadowbanker?

EXLENCE

I've been subscribed to the EXLENCE system for 4 1/2 months now and have been consistently impressed. I've seen profits far beyond expectation and had problems only when I was impatient and didn't leave trades alone. The author of the system was very helpful when I was starting and answered each question asked. Patience is required, but following the system is otherwise straightforward. My only concern has been letting losers run to the stops, but I've found when I did not that I often stopped out just as the market turned up and missed a big winner. Frankly, I just wish I had started trading with this system earlier. Wouldn't mind questions from other traders, and couldn't be happier with the results I've experienced and the treatment I've received.

Gulf Stream 10 SE

Gulf Stream SE has been a great system. The vendors answer questions quickly and their approach results in low draw down and good returns. I rate other systems in relation to this one. I just hope that the returns from earlier will make an appearance again or that another Gulf Stream system is created.

Gulf Stream 10 SE

"we just manually suspend our system to catch better moment for covering our shorts". This does not make any sense. You are selling here a mechanical systems. Your subscribers decided to trade it based also on backtests you provided. How could you decide to manually intervene for no apparent reason? Is this something you plan to do again in the future?

mvp-3

It's no trading system.....alas, only an experiment. Buy it and trade the promoter's $.

mvp-3

Apparently human intervention of signals contradict the description "a completely TA indicator based computer program". The vendor needs to stop using recent curve fitting result to give people the illusion all the previous problem has been resolved. In reality, it only aggravates the problem by incurring recency bias. The system has some merits. High drawdown is not the reason for difficulty in trading, but unpredictability of the system is.

ETF Timer

ETF timer is a well managed, outstanding system with an excellent track record. You are provided with daily updates and your questions are answered within minutes!

mvp-3

A classic lesson that curve fitting does not work in real-life trading. This system is very difficult to trade, as it can stay in the wrong direction for a very long time based on recent curve fitting result, keep using margin hoping to recover loss instead of going with the trend. The vendor is very honest but is working too hard to release NEW re-optimized version into mvp-3 based on recent data whenever large DD happens. This makes C2 historical live records meaningless, no matter how good it looks. Subscribers should not be treated as guinea pigs of the NEW release. The vendor should start a different C2 system to test new system for at least 6 months before having subscribers test it using real money.

$25k Alpha Portfolio

One of the best systems I ever came across, trading S&P E-minis. Has multiple edges over the market and most other systems. Profit factor (historical) 2.18 - excellent. Sharpe ratio : 2.72 - excellent 53.5 winning trades, trading only in favorable market conditions, another edge over the market and most other systems. Strict stop loss ($500 per contract) and strong trade management. Flat at the end of the day. As a result 7+ profitable years in a row, annual average return 139%. Much lower and less frequent drawdowns than most systems: 20.75% of initial equity, 6.43% of total equity. I strongly believe 25k alpha portfolio and its 3 siblings: 15k alpha, 15k beta, and 50k alpha portfolios are going to be big winners on C2.

Mini N&R

Risky and dangerous system, holds 3 index contracts overnight, and over the weekends. Lost almost 7K in last 5 trading days taking large losses on short trades and quicly entering another short 3 times in a row during very strong last week rally giving up all gains since inception. System is supposed to smooth equity curve of Gen 2 however outweights it in contract size almost 3:1.
